Refund Policy
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Typetrans Pro subscriptions and credit packs purchased through Paddle.

1. Overview
We want Typetrans purchases to be clear and fair. If something is wrong with your purchase, email us at support@typetrans.com with the email used for checkout, your Typetrans account email, and your Paddle receipt or transaction ID.
Payments are processed by Paddle. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method through Paddle.
2. Pro subscription refunds
First-time Pro subscription purchases are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the original purchase if you are not satisfied.
Renewal charges are eligible for a refund within 7 days of the renewal date if you have not used Pro formatting credits or Pro features during that renewal period.
Refunds may be denied or adjusted if the subscription has been heavily used, if there is evidence of abuse, or if the request is outside the refund window.
3. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel future Pro renewals before the next billing date. Canceling stops future recurring charges but does not automatically refund charges already paid.
After cancellation, your Pro access normally remains active until the end of the paid billing period, unless a refund or account action changes that access.
4. Credit pack refunds
Unused credit packs are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase. If any credits from a pack have been used, the pack is generally not refundable unless required by law or approved by Typetrans support.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred to another account without our written approval.
5. Failed formatting jobs
If a formatting job fails because of a Typetrans technical error and credits were consumed, contact us. We will review the job and, where appropriate, return the credits or issue a refund. User-side issues, unsupported files, incorrect template choices, or changes you do not like may not qualify for a refund.
6. Duplicate charges and payment errors
If you believe you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after cancellation, contact us immediately. Include your Paddle receipt and account email so we can investigate with Paddle.
7. How to request a refund
Send refund requests to support@typetrans.com. Include:
- Your Typetrans account email.
- The email used at checkout.
- Your Paddle receipt, order number, or transaction ID.
- A short explanation of the issue.
We aim to respond within 3 to 5 business days. Paddle and your payment method may take additional time to post an approved refund.
8. Legal rights
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or region. If local law gives you additional refund or cancellation rights, we will honor those rights.
